Delete Your Account
We respect your right to delete your data. Here's how it works.
How to delete your account
- Sign in to your BrainPickle account.
- Go to your Account page.
- Scroll to the bottom and click "Delete my account."
- Type "delete" to confirm, then click the delete button.
What gets deleted
- Your profile (display name, avatar)
- All quiz results and scores
- Your streak history
- Your login credentials
- Email reminder preferences
What gets anonymized
The following data is kept but permanently unlinked from your identity:
- Quizzes you created (remain public, author shown as anonymous)
- Question reports you submitted
Timeline
Deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no recovery period. BrainPickle is free, so there is nothing to cancel and no billing to wind down.
