50 free Guess the Movie trivia questions with answers — trivia quiz, new questions added Aug 2026.
Every question here describes one film and asks you to name it. Some clues are a plot in a sentence, some a single prop or location, some a director and a year, and a few are the poster tagline. Recognise the detail and the title follows. The fifty picks run from 1930s Hollywood to the most recent Oscar winners, and they deliberately mix blockbusters with festival favourites from Japan, Italy, Germany, Brazil, Korea, India and Latvia. Four answer choices keep each one fair: three distractors from the same era and genre, so you can reason toward the title even when it does not come to you straight away. Built for film buffs, pub-quiz hosts and anyone who likes shouting titles at the screen. Play it on your phone or print it for a movie night.
